The bank is colored in gold, with the bird's eye being colored in black on the gold. The bank is made of two parts held together with a screw. The casting shows details of the owl's face and plumage as well as the tree stump. The bank appears to be all original and retains most of its original paint.
It has the coin slot on the back of the owl's head. This is a very nice-looking penny bank in good condition.
