Incredible Antique Cast Iron Stand -Ornate Victorian Flag Pole Holder -A BEAUTY

Original 19th century Victorian period cast iron stand. We believe it was made to hold a flag pole. Never seen another quite as ornate.

Each side a single piece of cast iron in the shape of an eagle topped with a crown. No broken or missing pieces. Some of the original paint remains, but it's chippy and rusty as pictures show. Comes apart and assembles fairly easily, all the threading and knobs still work to hold it together very sturdily. Weight a hefty 13 pounds.

Stands 17-1/4" height, measures 16" from foot to foot. Hole opening for pole 1-1/4 diameter (top bracket and bottom bracket).
