Original stickers on the Golden Oak platform reads "The New Harvard Dictionary Holder" Model #5. George Flanagan Company, Chicago, Ill. The bookstand has three pressed steel cabriolet legs.
The stand adusts up and down by loosening the bolt on the base up to approx. The stand is shown with a large heavy Webster's Unabridged Dictionary (Not Included). Base is 21" Wide and book holder measures: 23" Wide opened x 13 Tall. The holder is spring loaded and functions perfectly.There are several adjustments on the cast iron book platform. 10 Pounds-14 Pounds packed in a strong secure box. Note: The original piece had a small revolving book shelf mounted on the base.
